You've been busted... again. You got another traffic ticket within a year of the last moving violation. Yeah, I know how you feel. I started getting paranoid. I thought every cop, sherrif, FBI guy, and the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles had me on their radar. It probably wasn't true. It ends up to be  not too bad, you get to take a  8 Hour Traffic School. The course is fairly easy, just break it up into a few chunks and get it done. It will take between 8 to 10 hours to complete this course. Almost all the online traffic schools charge around $60 for their 8 hour course.

Most of the online traffic schools have a mixture of text, animation and graphics. The course is not tough, it's just long. Some traffic schools give quizzes to review what you've read and others do not. Take the quizs, it help lock in the information. You have to get 80% in order to pass. Don't worry it's mostly multiple choice. Remember your signs, it's on the test.

The course is a longer version of the Basic Driver Improvement Course with more of a emphasis on Defensive Driving and you cleaning up your act.

2. Review of Traffic Laws
3. Review of Driver Responsibilities
4. Review of Drug and Alcohol(DATA)
5. Review of Emergencies
6. Review of Driving on the road

Like I said, it's a review of the Basic Driver Improvement Course with more about Defensive Driving and your responsibilities in driving. Driving is like everything else, you get better and smarter about it with experience. The Florida DHSMV is trying to get you to clean up your act. The problem is, the cops can pull up your driving record, with just a few clicks. Rotten computers!

Anyway, getting 80% on the test is not too tough. You then get a Certificate of Completion for the 8 Hour Course. You can get it sent to the Clerk of Courts for your county if you want to pay $12 to $19. It may be worth it, not having to waste your time in line etc. You usually will get the certificate mailed to you by the online traffic schools. Good Luck on your course.
